This project on the Connecticut River features crisp and traditional white maple cabinetry; contrasted and warmed by antique chestnut island cabinetry and floors. The island was custom all the way with cabinetry constructed of reclaimed chestnut and finished with oil to maintain the soft organic feel. The countertops are in white marble and the white subway tile keeps the space bright and allows the chestnut to be the star of the show.
